Privacy
Short version: your screenshot is read once and deleted immediately. We never store it.
Your screenshot
- Your browser shrinks the image if needed, then sends it to our server over HTTPS. You can skip this entirely and type your times by hand.
- Our server keeps it in memory only, sends it to Anthropic's Claude API to read the app names and times, and discards it as soon as the answer comes back. It is never written to disk, logged or kept in a database.
- Anthropic processes the image to produce the answer under its commercial terms, which don't allow it to train models on API data.
Your bill
- The bill itself is calculated from app names and minutes, not the image. We don't keep it either.
- When you share, the app names and weekly minutes go into the link (for example
/bill?a=Instagram~372). Anyone with the link can see them, so remove anything you'd rather keep private before sharing. Shared bills are marked as not to be indexed by search engines.
Everything else
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies.
- We count visits and a few clicks (such as Share, Download image and Leave a tip) with Umami, a cookieless analytics tool. It never receives your app names, times or amounts: the bill in a share link is stripped from the address before a visit is counted. If your browser sends Do Not Track, nothing is counted.
- Tips are paid on Stripe's checkout page, in a new tab. Stripe handles your card details. We see the amount and the name or email you give Stripe, as with any payment, and never link it to a bill.
- To limit abuse, the server counts how many screenshots each IP address reads per hour, in memory only.
